Review: Honk, Honk! The Little Woman Wanted Noise by Val Teal and illustrated by Robert Lawson is about a little, exhilarating, old woman who moves to a farm and creates the noises she misses from the city.

The Little Woman Wanted Noise is a charming book. The beginning is very descriptive and focuses on a happy, old woman who lives in the city where there is a lot of noise all around her. She doesn't mind, in fact she loves the noise. When her cousin calls saying he is moving away, he tells he that she could have the farm. This sounds like a great idea until she finds that she misses the city noises. So, the creative old woman recreates the city noises with animals on the farm; but something is still missing.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The Little Woman Wanted Noise is an exceptional book for little kids. I'm certain that if I read it to little kids on my street, they would love it. Val Teal certainly writes very good children's books as can be seen in The Little Woman Wanted Noise. The intended audience is young children such as preschool. But even older kids, like me, will like the story as well. Robert Lawson contributes greatly as well, because his illustrations help bring the story to life. Overall, Val Teal's imagination in The Little Woman Wanted Noise goes wild, and I love that. Hopefully Val Teal will keep making books that kids love and will always love and keep making kids smile.

Review: Frog Trouble by Sandra Boynton

Publication Date: September 2013
List Price: $16.99

Review: Sing along as you listen to the many songs in Frog Trouble. Sandra Boynton is the songwriter, but professional artists actually sing the songs. Frog Trouble is just one of the many great songs in this book.

Eleven songs comprise the book Frog Trouble. Each song is set to country music and is a long enough length to keep the audience entertained. There is also a little section in his book that has good country names for your pets. Finally this book is divided into three parts lyrics, music, and performers.

Any younger kids could enjoy Frog Trouble. It is a fun book because the readers can read along either in story format or with the actually music. Having the actual music is also fun for the young budding pianist. Also the language and the format of the book will be entertaining with the slang or country words. This would be a great book for the intended age group.

Review: My dearest little Peewee what will happen to you? Dorothy Kunhardt renowned as author of Pat the bunny wrote a new adventure Now Open The Box is about Peewee, the little joyful red dog and the circus! But what will happen when Peewee grows will it affect the whole circus?

Now Open The Box is a book about the littlest, cutest dog in the world Peewee and he stars in a circus. Even though Peewee doesn't know any tricks people still come to see the most, adorable little dog they'd ever seen. But when Peewee starts to grow does the ring master have to make a shocking choice and have Peewee be forced to leave the circus and say goodbye to all his friends the fat lady, the thin man the elephants and so many more of his friends? But what will happen to the circus will they be forced to close down the circus because they have no main attraction? Find out in Now Open The Box.

I liked that fact that Dorothy Kunhardt used age appropriate words for the readers because 2 year olds would love this. I also liked that they came up with some creative illustrations for the characters for the circus from the lady hanging in the air just by her nose tied to rope to the donkey with two head. They are colorful pictures that two year olds would love. The characters are also very creative like a strong little baby, a very tall but thin man and so much more! Now Open The Box is perfect for little toddlers in fact I read the book to my little sister and she loved it after I finished it she asked me to read it again. Then once I was finished the seconded time, done she got toys and pretended it was a circus. So toddlers would be the perfect audience for this book. So if you read this to toddlers I think they would love just like my little sister. Also if you are looking for a book that demonstrates that things can get better or to always look at the bright side of life, this is the book you are looking for.

Review: One adorable creation one after another little kids laughing and playing with their new piece of art. Crafts for Kids by Gill Dickinson is an adorable read. It shows great crafts for the young soul to enhance their creative mind and be able to express them selves in their art.

Crafts for Kids shows a variety of different crafts and some variations so you don't run out of ideas quickly. Also, it gives ideas for every season, each idea better than the last one. This book makes it simple to complete each craft by showing step-by-step instructions and it shows pictures to help explain for the visual learner. Some crafts you learn to make are fake flowers, straw people and many more.

Crafts for Kids is a book that I would recommend for any mother, daycare, or art teacher. It teaches kids how to express themselves through what they make. This book could be for any gender, and would be the most fun for kids' ages from 2 to 6 years old and their parents. So have fun, be creative, and be an artist!
